Description
They're wondering what's up there. . . the other is wondering why I'm still looking at them. Juvenile Burrowing Owls hatch late May through June. Summertime is my favorite time to visit these little birds as they are so espressive. Also, it is very hot, with temperatures soaring well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Yes, they live in the desert, and they are thriving down here in the southeast corner of California.
